This evening gave us the opportunity to hear from one of our newest members. Phil Lenton has a wealth of experience during his time as a member of Rotaract the arm of the Rotary family for young people between 18 and 30.

Phil gave us a very interesting insight into the events that Rotaract organises and helped us understand a little better the enormous opportunities that Rotaract offers.

Several of our members were involved with the Rotaract of Windsor and Eton which sadly closed a few years ago. Thanks to Phil for bringing back some good memories and for a fascinating talk.

Meeting 16 December 2008

Traditionally the last meeting of December is our chance to celebrate Christmas as a club.
This year we invited partners and guests to join us for an evening of friendship and entertainment. Rotarians Kathryn and David Pike provided two short sketches including a reduced Cinderella that saw President Emrys and Rotarian Andreas finding their star qualities as the Ugly Sisters. Rotarian Trevor gave us his traditional Christmas Newsletter highlighting a few of the amusing episodes from the year and later led us in a few Christmas carols. By the end of the meeting we all left feeling very Christmassy indeed.
Happy holidays to you all
